Why only three days?
Since this type of work is seasonal, our support staff must maintain regular jobs. It’s difficult for all our staff to get four or more days off, all at the same time. We have also found that three days camping conforms to most biker’s comfort level. Most of our bikers are ready to go home at the end of day three.
We fully recognize that there are similar adventures at about the same price point, and you might do well booking with another company. What makes us different is our level of commitment to the social element of the ride. There isn’t another service in America offering the level of support and personal attention Arizona Mountain Bike Rides offers. Additionally, our rides are unique - offering you the opportunity to explore areas of Arizona that only a small number of outdoor enthusiasts will ever encounter. Besides, we’re the nicest guys you’ll ever meet!
Are there any age restrictions?
Yes. Because of the rigorous nature of the trails, we generally do not accept applications from bikers younger than 12. There is no maximum age limit, but all bikers must sign a waiver, releasing AZ Mt. Bike Tours, LLC. of responsibility for heart, respiratory or other health issues that might result in hospitalization or death.
It might. We have yet to find a way to control that aspect of our tours! The unpredictability of weather is always a factor when booking a tour. We will have a limited supply of rain gear on hand, and will be glad to loan it to you, but just in case it does rain, come with some rider-friendly rain gear.
Can I cancel my ride and receive a refund?
Yes, but cancellations must be made at least 10 days before the ride date. We plan your ride months before the start date. Staffing and logistics require that we know exactly how many bikers will be joining us for each ride.
No. We will gladly provide you with a rental. Just let us know your riding preferences.
